Meridian City, 2058. Magic came back; the megacorps never left. Take deniable contracts from bar-room fixers, jack into the Grid, and spend your pay on chrome or spellcraft — every implant burns the magic out of you. A neon-noir action-RPG about who killed your brother, and what it costs.
About GRIDFALL
Your brother came home from a corporate job in a body bag. The fixer who sent him won't say why. Start there. GRIDFALL is a neon-noir open-world action-RPG in the classic 16-bit mold: real-time top-down street combat, karma-based advancement, hireable crew who take a cut, a hacking scene with its own geography, and a city that keeps moving whether you're watching or not. WORK THE STREETS The contract loop — eight kinds of work (courier, escort, extraction, data theft, Grid runs, gang strikes, recovery, bodyguard) offered by fixers in bars and scaled to your reputation. Haggle the payout — the odds are on the button, and a critical failure withdraws the offer. Deliberate gunfights — every attack is a wind-up you commit to. Reflexes speed the trigger, Willpower steadies the spell, and enemies play by the same rules you do. A crew worth paying — hire named operatives out of bars, spend their karma, hand them your spare deck, install their chrome, and take direct control of any of them mid-fight. Hire a jacker and you can work Grid contracts without ever touching a deck yourself. RUN THE GRID Jack in from terminals, comm booths, and locked doors into a fog-covered lattice of gates, hub
