About Isernsmith
Isernsmith is a unique gaming experience where progression requires a mix of sandbox elements such as crafting and combining weapons and tools alongside mastery of the combat mechanics necessary to defeat enemies and bosses. Combat Combat is designed around timing and pattern recognition. Dodging grants i-frames but it is limited with a short cool-down which works similar to a stamina bar. Enemies and bosses have distinct behaviors that need to be learned through repeated encounters. Success comes from understanding these patterns and responding correctly, rather than relying only on stronger equipment. Crafting Crafting is based on combining weapons and materials to create new ones. Instead of following a linear upgrade system. Different weapons can do unique types of elemental damage which certain enemies are weaker to, so each new area demands the player to experiment with different combinations to produce stronger or altered versions of their equipment that would work best for the given area.
