About Yokai Parade

Yokai Parade is a resident idle game that lives at the bottom of your screen while you do other things. Watch the parade Along the bottom edge of your desktop, yokai amble by. A lantern ghost, a little tofu carrier, a kappa... wondering who'll walk past next is most of the game, and the koban pile up while you wonder. Open up the board Spend your koban opening the board, one tile at a time. Depending on where you open, the takings grow, rarer yokai start dropping by, or the parade just gets livelier. The odd purple tile hides a shrine or a torii gate, and word is there are yokai you'll only ever meet by opening one. Fill the codex The parade brings familiar faces and the occasional who is that? . The same yokai might show up as a woman, an elder, a child, or something a touch scarier on certain nights. Seal the regulars you've seen plenty of, and let the ones you haven't met take their place. Fill the codex to a milestone and the yokai may just throw a little celebration. Wait for the festival As the parade rolls on, the festival gauge slowly fills. When it does, the night market bursts into celebration: fireworks, festival music, koban coming in thick. Then it winds down, and the
